The appointment is held by Dr. Peter Lassu, Consultant General Surgeon (vascular and laparoscopic surgery) — consultant is the senior grade in the DHA register, and the fee follows the grade of the doctor rather than the complaint you come with.

What the fee covers: your history, examination, and where clinically indicated a proctoscopy during the same appointment, plus a written plan of what happens next. If a procedure is recommended, it is quoted separately and in writing before it is booked. Nothing is added on the day.

ELEMENTAL works on a self-pay basis: payment is settled at the clinic rather than billed to an insurer. If your policy includes out-patient reimbursement, we provide an itemised invoice and a medical report so you can claim from your insurer — whether the cost is reimbursed, and how much, is decided by your insurance company under the terms of your policy.
