Morpheus8 for Body in Dubai
Morpheus8 — also written Morpheus 8 — is fractional radiofrequency microneedling. On the body it is used for skin quality, stretch marks and mild to moderate laxity rather than for weight or volume: the treatment works with the tissue you have. At ELEMENTAL Day Surgical Center in Jumeirah 1, Dubai it is planned and performed by a DHA-licensed physician on the InMode IgniteRF platform. Body pricing starts from AED 2,800 for a small zone and from AED 4,500 for a large zone. A physician consultation is required before any treatment is planned. Individual results vary.
Which body areas are treated, and what it costs
Abdomen, thighs, arms, hips, buttocks, knees, elbows and hands are all treated, and areas can be combined in one session. Pricing is per area and per session: from AED 2,800 for a small zone such as knees, elbows or hands, and from AED 4,500 for a large zone such as thighs, arms, abdomen, hips or buttocks. The number of passes and the number of sessions is a clinical decision made at consultation, not a package sold in advance.
What it does on the body — and what it does not
The treatment is aimed at adults with mild to moderate laxity, stretch marks or textural change who want improvement without an operation. Where there is a real excess of skin, or where the concern is volume rather than skin quality, a device will disappoint, and the honest options are surgical ones — your physician will say so at consultation rather than after payment.
This distinction matters more on the body than on the face, because body areas are larger, the skin is thicker, and expectations set by photographs online are frequently set by surgery, not by a device.
What a body session involves
Physician consultation: assessment of skin type, texture, scarring and laxity; a decision on whether this device is the right level of treatment at all. Topical anaesthetic, applied and given time to work. Most people describe the treatment itself as tolerable rather than comfortable. The treatment itself takes from about 15 minutes for a small zone such as the knees or hands to about an hour for a large zone such as the abdomen or thighs, not counting the time the anaesthetic cream needs to work. Then aftercare instructions and a written record of the areas, tips and settings used, and a review with standardised photographs, timed to your plan.
Recovery after a body treatment
Expect redness, swelling and a fine grid pattern for several days, with dryness and light flaking in the first week. Bruising can occur, more often on the body than on the face. The body heals more slowly than the face: allow longer for the redness and the grid pattern to settle before an occasion that matters, and treat the sun protection instruction as strict, particularly in Dubai.
How long the change lasts on the body
It depends on what is being treated. For stretch marks and scars the remodelled tissue does not go back on its own; the change is lasting unless the cause returns — a further pregnancy, for example. For laxity and sagging the result is typically expected to hold for eighteen months to three years, depending on age and on how marked the laxity was, because the ageing that produced it continues.
Skin type matters here
Your Fitzpatrick skin type is assessed at the consultation, settings are adjusted accordingly, and where the risk is high the physician will say so and may recommend a more conservative plan or a different treatment altogether.
