Laser Treatments in Dubai

The Vbeam Perfecta works at 595 nm, a wavelength absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin in blood vessels, which makes it the instrument for rosacea-related and persistent facial redness, broken capillaries and spider vessels, cherry angiomas, port-wine stains, red post-acne marks and red scars. A Dynamic Cooling Device is designed to protect the surface of the skin during each pulse. The CO2 laser works differently: instead of targeting vessels, it removes and remodels the upper layers of the skin — the full picture is on the CO2 laser resurfacing page. That makes it the tool for texture — resurfacing sun-damaged or ageing skin, softening scars, including acne scars, and smoothing irregularities that creams and lighter procedures do not reach. CO2 work is a medical procedure with real downtime: the skin needs days to re-epithelialise, and sun protection afterwards is not optional. Depth, mode and the number of sessions are chosen by the doctor for your skin type and the problem being treated — aggressive settings on the wrong skin cause pigmentation problems instead of fixing them, which is why we do not quote settings or promise results before an assessment.

What happens before any laser. Every course starts with a consultation: examination of the skin, medical history, medication review, and an honest answer on whether laser will help your particular concern — sometimes the right answer is a different pigmentation treatment, a dermatology work-up, or no procedure at all. Laser is postponed or declined where there are contraindications: pregnancy, active skin infection in the area, a recent tan, and certain medications among them. A test patch may be done first where the reaction of the skin is uncertain.

Cost. A consultation with a dermatologist starts from AED 600. The cost of treatment depends on the area, the platform and the number of sessions, and is quoted after the assessment. When a laser is the wrong tool

A laser works on what it can absorb: pigment, blood vessels, or the surface of the skin itself. It does not tighten a jawline and it does not lift a neck. Where the problem is laxity rather than colour or texture, the honest answer is a different class of device — focused ultrasound or radiofrequency — and those live in device-based cosmetology: HIFU Ultraformer MPT, Morpheus8, and for the lower face and neck FaceTite.

Often the two are combined: the laser corrects colour and surface, the other device addresses firmness, and the order and the interval between them are set by the physician rather than by whichever is booked first.
